This Wide Range Combustible Gas Leak Detector for Industrial uses, HVAC, plumbing and plant maintenance is an extremely useful tool in any environment where coal gases, hexane, propane, methane, natural gas, fuel oil, ethane, Butane, pentane, isopropyl alcohol, halogenation hydrocarbon, (Methanol, Ethanol, Butanol) aether, ketone (butone, protone), Hydrogen, toluene, and other compounds, (gasoline, industrial solvent, lacquer, refrigerant, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, sulfured hydrogen, acetic acid, etc) and many other explosive gases may be present. This gas detector features a quick response, audible & visual indication, auto fast warm-up, adjustable sensitivity, and can continuously operate up to 5 hours.
As a combustible gas or vapor source is approached, an audible signal (ticking sound) increases in frequency and the red lights illuminate in sequence, to show the intensity of the leak. Leak size is indicated by increasing LED lights and ticking sound. The larger combustible concentration the more light will lit up and the faster the ticking will be heard. The unique flexible probe can be rotated and gives you access to gas leaks any area, even in hard to reach places.
