How it works
- The device detects nuisance dog barking by internal microphone.
- The emits ultrasonic sound. The ultrasonic sound can be heard by dogs but is silent to humans.
- The ultrasonic sound is unpleasant to the dogs. The dogs should stop barking.
The effective range
The device 3 levels of ultrasonic intensity, which has different effective range.
- Level1: Up to 15 feet.
- Level2: Up to 30 feet.
- Level3: Up to 50 feet.
Is the ultrasonic sound harmful to humans?
No. The device uses low-intensity ultrasonic, is silent to humans and no harmful.
Can a dog become desensitized to the ultrasonic sound?
There are some situations where dogs become desensitized. To avoid this, only turn the outdoor bark control on during periods of unwanted barking.
Battery life
2 months average, depending on how often the dog barks. To conserve battery life, turn to the "OFF" position when the device is not in use.
