Ball Mill.
Ball grinder mill is a horizontal rotating device transmittedby outside gear. Material is transferred to grinding chamber through the quillshaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner with differentspecifications of steel balls in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused byrotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height to impact andgrind the material. The ground material is discharged through the discharging board, thus the grinding process is finished.
The ball mill is made up of feeding part, discharging part, gyre part, transmission part,(decelerator, small transmission gear, generator, electrical control) and soon. The hollow axis adopts the cast steel and the lining can replace, therotating big gear processes in the way of casting rolling gear. The cylinder iswearable well and bears wearable lining board. This machine runs steadily and works reliably.
A Ball Mill grinds material by rotating a cylinder with steelgrinding balls, causing the balls to fall back into the cylinder and onto thematerial to be ground. The rotation is usually between 4 to 20 revolutions perminute, depending upon the diameter of the mill. The larger the diameter, theslower the rotation. If the peripheral speed of the mill is too great, itbegins to act like a centrifuge and the balls do not fall back, but stay on theperimeter of the mill. The point where the mill becomes a centrifuge is called the "Critical Speed", and ball mills usually operate at 65% to 75% of the critical speed.
