Introduction to Single Screw Fish Feed Extruder
Equipped with conditioner and steam boiler, this wet type fish feed pelletizer can produce better quality fish feed in larger scale compared with dry type pelletizer. It is not only suitable for making high-grade aquatic feed pellets for fish, catfish, shrimps, crab, etc, but also ideal for making pet food for dogs, cats, etc. Moreover, fish feed pellets made by this pellet extruder is of puffing type, more easily to digest for fishes and can float on the water surface without dissolution for over 12 hours.
Features of Floating Fish Feed Pelletizer
1. With boiler continuously providing hot steam into the conditioner, materials can be fully cooked and the nutritional value is improved, thus the quality and quantity of feed pellets can be improved greatly with lower power consumption.
2. Variably configurations of screw bolts can match the producing demands for different formulas and raw materials.
3. Electric heating device is adopted to improve the feed expansion rate and pellets floating time.
4. Key parts are processed through vacuum quench treatment with high processing precision, thus have a long service life.
5. You can change different molds to make pellets with different diameters.
Special design of Wet Type Fish Feed Extruder Parts
1. Screw sleeve adopts jacketed construction, which can be injected in with hot steam or cooling water, thus the extruding temperature can be controlled effectively.
2. Upper single barrel conditioner ensures rational rotating speed and full mixing of water, steam and raw materials.
3. Lower layer different diameter cylinder conditioner, through adjusting paddles, raw materials fullness can be increased; conditioning time can be prolonged, so that conditioning becomes more even and full.
Application of Wet Fish Feed Extruder
Pellet size: 1-15mm, mini pallet size 0.9mm
Produce floating fish feed, slow-sinking fish feed
Using different molds, can also produce pet food, like dog, cat food and also animal poultry feeds
The wet extruder is used for extrusion of full fat soybean, corn, piglet, soybean meal, cotton seed meal, rice bran etc. It can modify quality of raw materials and increase digestibility
Why Choose Extruder for Aquatic Feed Production?
The production of feeds for aquaculture has several challenges: the feed must be water stable, have high conversion rates while ensuring a low ecological impact. For these reasons extrusion technology is the best choice for the production of aquaculture feeds. Then what is extrusion? Feed at environment of high temperature (110-200 °C) and high pressure (25 to l00kg/cm2) and high shear force, high moisture (10% 20% or even 30%), through continuous mixing, conditioning, heating, pressure, curing, extrusion die and sudden depressurization formed a bulk porous feed pellets.
