Application

The high-voltage shunt capacitor installations are used for power factor correction,improving quality of network and reducing transmission line losses in the three-phase power system.

Service conditions

1.The altitude above sea level of mounting area dose not exceed 2000m(if more than 2000m,it is necessary to make an explanation when ordering.)

2.The ambient temperature of mounting area should be -40℃~+55℃(if operating under exceptional environment,it is necessary to make an explanation when ordering).

3.There should be no conductive or explosive dust,no harmful gas and vapor,no severe mechanical vibrations in mounting area.

4.Mounting spot:Outdoor or indoor.

Product advantages

1.Horizontal installation:Capacitor bank adopts horizontal and compact installation,the floor space can compared with assembling shunt capacitors when having the same capacity.

2.Standard modular structure:Capacitor banks are designed into several standardized modules,so they are able to be pre-assembled in the factory and integrally installed/shipped & hoisted onsite.The efficiency of on-site installation is improved.

3.Less maintenance workload:The capacitor bank without external fuse can eliminate the problem of trip caused by frequent malfunction of poor-quality external fuse,maintenance workload is decreased.

Main structure

Shunt capacitor installation is composed of shunt capacitors,series reactor,discharge coil,zinc oxide arrester and isolated earthing-switch,etc.There are wire fence for safety with the installation.

Main technical performances

1.The capacitance tolerance of installation:The ratio between measured and rated capacitance in each phase of installation does not exceed 0~+3%.

2.The installation can be operated for long time under 1.05 times of rated voltage.

3.The installation can be continuously operated at the root-mean-square value,which value is no more than 1.3 times of rated current.The over current is caused by harmonics and over-voltage.
