Refining process of the crude oil:
Crude oil----Degumming----deacidification----decolorization----Filtration----Deodorization----Fractionation----Refining cooking oil
Crude oil types:
Solvent extraction crude edible oil: Such as the soybean oil,rice bran oil,sunflower oil,cotton seed oil,canola seed oil,palm oil
Pressed crude edible oil: Such as the corn germ oil /soybean oil/rice bran oil/sunflower oil/cotton seed oil/canola seed oil/palm oil as well as the animal fat.
Drude oil main component:
Mixed fatty acid triglycerides/ Phospholipids/ free fatty acids/pigments/peroxides/waxes and various mechanical impurities
Degumming process:
The process of removing colloid impurities in oil is called degumming, the colloidal impurities in crude oil mostly is phospholipid, so deguming is often called the dephosphorization .
The degumming process mainly includes Hydration degumming and Acid-Add degumming
Deacidification process:
It refers to the refining process that saturate the free fatty acids with alkali, then generate fatty acid salts (soap) and water, the soap adsorb a portion of impurity then settling out from the oil. This is the normally deacidification refining method.
Decolorization process:
Normally use the clay's strong absoption ability to remove the pigment in the oil.
Filtration process:
Normally use the flat frame filter machine to filter the clay after the decolorization process.
Deodorization process:
This process is to remove the odor substances such as the odor in the leaching solvent process, soap odor in the alkali refining process and clay odor during the decolorization process. as well as remove part pigment residue.
Fractionation process:
This process is to according the palm oil different component different melting point to separate the solid from the liquid oil. these different degree oil can be used in different way.
