DESCRIPTION
The Multi-Purpose 1/2 Inch (16 mm) Barbed Ball Valve is used as a on/off valve for drip tubing, or ½ inch drip line lateral with inside diameter of .500 to .530 ID . The Multi-Purpose 1/2 Inch Barbed Ball Valve can also be used to adjust and balance the flow of an individual drip line. Make sure to choose the correct model of barbed ball valve to fit the right size of the drip tubing and drip line used.>
APPLICATIONS
The model A117 Multi-Purpose 1/2 Inch (16mm) Barbed Ball Valve is connected to 1/2 inch (16 mm) drip tubing or drip line with .500 to .530 ID and used as a shut-off valve for an individual line of drip tubing and drip line.
INSTRUCTION
Installation Recommendations
The Multi-Purpose ½ inch (16 mm) Barbed Ball Valve model A117 (pack of 1) is used for control of drip tubing or drip line lateral and as a shut-off valve.
- To install the 1/2 inch multi-purpose barbed ball valve, cut the drip tubing or drip line with a hand pruner, being careful to keep dirt from entering the line.
- Hold the barbed ball valve in one hand and the drip tubing or drip line in the other and force the drip tubing over the barb by wiggling it from side to side.
- Make sure that the drip tubing or the drip line is pushed over the barb for a very tight fit. No glue or clamps are required.
