  Introductions of Vertical Ring Die Pellet Mill

4).Blower system: located in one side of work bin, free control the working time, the main function is dedusting and discharge steam.

 

 

 

5).Working parts: Ring-die and rollers materials are alloy steel, heat treatment made by ourselves, hardness more than 52,In this hardness can assure the pelleting quality and warranty time, working manner is from inside to outside press, centrifugal force and extrusion pressure together, produced more capacity, at the same time assure hardness and density, the special design is 4 to 8 rollers working, Increase press rate then increase capacity, Ring-die is “vertical double-deck” structure, it can use one mould with same hole size for working life increased, moreover it can use one mould with different hole size for saving the money for another size mould.

Which one to choose? Flat die or Ring die?  

 

Flat Die Wood Pellet Mill
Compared with ring die wood pellet mills, the flat die pellet mills are applied to small and medium sized production which requires lower hourly output and the materials with large adhesive force.
Also, flat die pellet mill has its own advantages and disadvantages. On the whole, flat die pellet mill is of low energy consumption, greater mobility, so it is suitable for small scale family workshop, but not for large-scale operation in enterprises and factories. Low output, low pressure, bad final pellet forming shape are disadvantages of flat die wood pellet mill. What’s more, the removing of spare part is indeed a troublesome thing.

 

Ring Die Wood Pellet Mill
Ring die pellet mills are of vertical structure and they combine with the flat die pellet mills’ vertical feeding method. The original circle structure of ring die pellet press is specially designed for those wood materials like gum wood, palm which are hard to press. Because the proportion of the materials is light,so vertical feeding method is selected. In addition, due to the nice stability of circle structure ring die pellet mills, thus the design adopts combination of ring die and flat die.
Ring die pellet mill has both advantages and disadvantages. There are three main advantages: 1.Large production, nice pellet forming shape and high density( 1-1.3%). 2. No additives are needed while pelletizing. 3. The roller and ring die are of balanced wear. The main disadvantage is the relatively high power consumption.

 

 

 

In a word, ring die wood pellet mills advantages are the flat die wood pellet mills disadvantages, and vice versa. You must consider all the factors that will limit your production carefully.
