Introduction of ball press machine
Ball press machine is an ideal mechanical equipment designed for processing powdery materials, such as nonferrous metal powder and mineral powders. After being made into briquettes, these wasted powders can be reused in various industries, hence increasing additional value of mineral resources. Additionally, the briquettes made by this nonferrous metal powder forming equipment can be used in blast furnace process and metal smelting as chemical and smelting auxiliary material. To be specific, the steel plants can supply mill scale briquettes made by this briquetting equipment to chemical plants for manufacturing ferrosilicon. Aluminum briquettes can be put into smelting furnace for extracting aluminum. Fluorite briquettes can be used as cosolvent for making steel.

Application of ball press machine
Various kinds of crop straw: cotton stalks, corn stalks, soybean straw, rice husks, peanut shells, etc.
Wood fiber materials: wood shavings,bark, bamboo shavings, sawdust,etcAll these above materialscanbe used to make fuel briquettes (fireplace fuel, boiler fuel, biomass fuel, etc).
Application Scope:
1. Coal or charcoal powder, biomass or agricultural waste powder.
2. Zinc oxide, lead oxide, calcium chloride, calcium phosphate.
3. High test bleaching powder, cryolite, chemical inhibitor, silica, Isophthalodinitrile, etc.
Requirements of Raw Material:
1) Feeding size should be less than 5mm.
2) Most appropriate water content is 10-15%.
Working principle of ball press machine The pressure throughout a closed system is constant. One part of the system is a piston acting as a pump, with modest mechanical force acting on a small cross sectional area; the other part is a piston with a larger area which generates a correspondingly large mechanical force. Only small diameter tubing (which more easily resists pressure) is needed if the pump is separated from the press cylinder. When the pressure on the press cylinder is released (the fluid returning to a reservoir), the force created in the press is reduced to a low value (which depends on the friction of the cylinder's seals.
