1. General Description
The Carbon Raiser we produce is Graphitized Petroleum Coke, a kind of low sulphur, low nitrogen recarburizer.
It chooses high sulphur Petroleum Coke as the raw material, then undergoes the continous graphitization profess around the high temperature of 3000 C. After crushing, screening and classfication, we are able to provide you with products of different granularities.
GPC is widely used in iron and steel making as Carbon Raiser, especially in precision casting, high quality steel and cast alloy. It can also be used in refractory material, plastic and rubber as an additive. GPC can significantly raise carbon to correct levels to improve the quality and grade of steel. Compared with eectrode scrap, GPC has high purity and fewer impurities, low sulphur, faster absorbing, can completely replace the broken electrode, and pretty better than the electrode scrap.
2. Characteristics of GPC
GPC contains high Carbon, low Sulphur and low Nitrogen. It has high absorption rate with fast absorption speed. It can be absorbed completely with no residue in furnace.
1) high absorption rate, can be absorbed up to 90%.
2) absorbed more quickly than other GPC; no residue remains in furnace.
3) low S, normally below 0.05%, the lowest can reach below 0.02%; low N, normally below 200ppm (0.02%)
4) the most cost effective among other graphitized products.
3. Detailed Specifications
1) We provide GPC of various granules, such as 0-0.2mm, 0.2-1mm,1-2mm, 1-5mm, 5-10mm and the other choices.
