White Aluminum Oxide 20 Grit for rust removal
99.5% ultra pure grade blasting abrasive. One of the most commonly used abrasives for sandblasting, surface prep, carving and etching. White Aluminum Oxide is highly friable, and breaks down quickly exposing new edges for increased cutting action on the workpiece.
Approximately 50% lighter than metallic media, white aluminum oxide has twice as many particles per pound. The fast-cutting action minimizes damage to thin materials by eliminating surface stresses caused by heavier, slower-cutting media blasting grits.

White Fused Alumina for Abrasive and Refractory belongs to the group of electro-corundum. It is produced by controlled melting of alumina in an electric arc furnace. White fused alumina is iron-free, ultra pure and extremely hard.
White Fused Alumina is produced by fusing calcined alumina in an electric arc furnace under carefully controlled conditions. The material produced is white in color, dense and has predominantly large crystals of Alpha Alumina. Ingots are crushed, ground, and precision screened in our new sizing plant to obtain very consistent sized fractions. Magnetic iron from crushing is removed by rare earth magnets to ensure very low levels of iron in the finished products. Close sized fractions are available or precision blended to specification. This process ensures a very consistent sizing from coarse to fines which is critical in many applications.
White Alumimun Oxide applications:
1, surface processing, metal oxide, carbon black, metallic or nonmetallic surface rust removal, such as gravity die casting, rubber mold of oxides or removal of the debonding agent, ceramic surface spots, color removal of uranium, coloured drawing or pattern.
2, beautify processing: all kinds of gold, K gold jewellery, precious metals products of extinction or fog surface processing, crystal, glass, corrugated, the fog of the force that press a gram etc. Nonmetal surface processing and can make the machining surfaces into metallic luster.
3, etching processing: jade, crystal, agate, semi-precious stones, seal, stone, antiques, marble tombstone, ceramic, wood, bamboo, etc. The etching of the artists.
4, pre-treatment processing: TEFLON (TEFLON), PU, rubber, plastic coating, rubber ROLLER (ROLLER), electroplating, metal spray welding, plating titanium before processing, increase the surface adhesion.
5, burrs and processing: bakelite, plastic, zinc and aluminum die-casting products, electronic components, the flash removal of magnetic core, etc.
6, stress relieving processing: aerospace, defense, precision industry parts, rust removal, in addition to paint extinction, renovation, etc. The stress relieving treatment.
White fused alumina is slightly higher than the brown fused alumina , toughness slightly, with its abrasive made for grinding high-carbon steel, high-speed steel and stainless steel fine-grained abrasive. Can also be used for precision casting and high-level refractory material.
