Biochemical Rings & Biochemical Balls are porous bio-chemical filter materials. They are mainly made from glass powder.
Features:
1.Professional & high efficient: The density of porosity is between 35%-60% and the sizes are average. The smallest pore can reach 0.1 μm. They have both physical and biochemical filtering functions
2.Absolutely Safe: These products are innoxious, smellless and insoluble in water.
3.Environmental Protection: The shape of pores will never change after long-times use. They could be recycled after being burnt
4.Multipurpose: They are acid & alkali proof and salt-resistant. Waste could be leached from water effectively, which are suitable for different kinds of filtering system.
5.Biochemical function: The numerous pores in the filtering materials provide places for PSB, nitrifying bacteria and anti-nitrifying bacteria to breed. The anaerobic layer inside the filtering materials is suitable for nitrifying bacterias growth and process from NH3 to NO3. The aerobic layer on the surface of filtering materials is suitable for anti-nitrifying bacterias growth and process from NO3 to N2, so it can build up a perfect microorganism water treatment system.
6.It has been proved by the test that when ammonia absorbing stone, volcanic stone and bio-chemical ring using together, the amount of each micropore bio-chemica rings useful bacteria could reach to more than 80000 units maximum. The decomposed ratio of ammonia and nitrogen can reach to 95%. The efficiency of cultivating bacteria is 6 times of regular microporous bio-chemical rings
