Brown Fused Alumina
Brown corundum
Is made mainly from bauxite, carbon materials and iron filings, smelting by high tempetures in electric spark furances. Brown fused aumina is the main chemical ingredient Al2O3, its content is between 94.5% and 97%, and the other containing a small amount of Fe, Si, Ti and so on. Its micro-hardness is HV 1800-2200. Its tenacity is higher than that SiC. The abrasive tools made of it are fit grind materials of all kinds, such as universal steel and gerveral alloy stell. It can be used to forge rough iron and hard bronze and make advanced refactory.
