Brown Fused Alumina
Properties: The bauxite, coke (anthracite) as main raw material, by smelting at high temperature in the EAF, the main chemical composition: Al203, Ti02 also small amounts of Si02 and Fe203. Characteristics: higher toughness than SiC, Microhardness 1800-2200kg/mm2, bulk density ≥ 3.85g/cm3, high temperature, high refractoriness 1850oc.
Usage: made for abrasive, suitable for grinding high tensile strength metal, such as a variety of general-purpose steel, malleable iron and hard bronze, etc. it can also create high-level refractory material.

Brown Fused Alumina is bauxite, carbon materials, iron filings in the three kinds of raw material through the melting furnace to restore the system obtained brown artificial corundum, and are thus brown corundum.
