Introduction
Sawdust pellet, also known as biomas fuel pellets. It mainly use pine, fir, birch, poplar, fruit tree and crop straw as raw material. Finished pellets can be used for stove burning, cooking, barbecue and fireplace heating ect. Its combustion efficiency is over 80%, which is more than ordinary coal combustion efficiency of about 60%. Because its high combustion efficiency, less dust, low sulfur dioxide and ammonia nitrogen compounds. It is more and more popular as a kind of clean energy.
Applicable raw material condition
- Any agro-forestry waste can be used
- Raw material diameter should be less than 5mm
- Humidity should be less than 20%
- Need not use binder. Ligin is a good adhesive.
Pellet making process
Crushing process - Natural state of raw material, its diameter is difficult to meet the requirements of less than 5mm. Thus, crushing equipment is necessary. Hammer mill is used for crushing material with diameter less than 50mm. While wood crusher is mainly used crushing material, which diameter is more than 50mm.
Drying process - If raw material humidity more than 20%. Dryer machine can change raw material humidity to meet the requirements.
Pelletizing process - Prepared well raw material, wood pellet machine can compress suitable raw material into solid pellets.
Cooling process - The finished pellet come out from wood pellet machine. Its temperature is high. Customer could choose one set cooler to cool and clean pellets. So that can convenient to next process - packaged.
Packing process - Pellets can be packed by wood pellet packing machine. So that can convenient storage and sales.
