Description : It is generally used in skin care products for curing a variety of skin conditions such as acne and eczema, dermatitis, for mature and sun burnt skin as well as fragile nails and wrinkles. This oil is also often used to heal scarring and reduce photo-aging. This oil is absolutely herbal and does not cause any harm to skin. Rosehip Refined Carrier Oil is extremely high in essential fatty acids and is known to help treat dry, irritated, weathered skin. It is also suitable for treating burns, scars and stretch marks. There are some concerns that it can aggravate acne conditions.
Color : Pale yellow to deep golden liquid.

Common Uses : Rosehip Refined Carrier Oil is becoming popular with massage therapists for it's skin healing properties, though it is typically in dilution (10% recommended). It is also suitable for cosmetics and manufacturing. This oil is used as cosmetic oil and is a very good source of Omega-6 fatty acids for the skin. It helps in rejuvenating the skin and provides a natural shine. It is a superb hydrator, and penetrates dry or spoiled skin immediately.
Consistency : Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.
Absorption : Rosehip Carrier Oil is considered a “drying oil” which means that it is quickly absorbed by the skin and does not leave an oily feel.
Shelf Life : Users can expect a shelf life of 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
Cautions : Rosehip Oil may aggravate acne in high concentrations, and for some individuals, it may cause sensitivity to light if it gets into their eyes.
Therapeutic Properties : The Rosehip oil is comprised of essential fatty acids, linoleic, oleic and olenolin. This contains natural cretin acid (vitamin A derivative), which replenishes and helps reconstruct skin tissue. This oil soaks into the skin easily and does not leave a greasy residue.
