Clay Nano Powder is a water washed, fine particle size kaolin clay. Its high surface area and low oil absorption make it ideal for rheology modification.
Product Applications: Clay Nano Powder is an excellent choice for use in paints, coatings, inks and adhesive formulations. Its low oil absorption allows for higher pigment and function filler loadings. The product’s finer particle size gives improved substrate adhesion, and its platy structure aids in improved surface appearance upon drying. Clay Nano Powder can be used alone in primer coats or with other kaolin products in semi-gloss coatings. In plastics and rubber applications, Clay Nano Powder is used as cost effective, functional filler that can improve the strength of a moulded. Clay Nano Powder is also effectively used as a TiO2 extender.
