Application:
1. Foundary Insulation
We offer wide variety of Raw Vermiculite For Foundary Insulation.
- Used as moulded shapes, bonded with sodium silicate for use in High-temperature insulation, refractory insulation, fireproofing of structural steel and pipes
- Loose-fill insulation
- Packing material, valued for its high absorbency
- Lightweight aggregate for plaster, proprietary concrete compounds, firestop mortar and cementitious spray fireproofing
- Component of the interior fill for firestop pillows, along with graphite
- Commercial handwarmers
2. Steel Industry
- Our Raw Vermiculite has a wide use in the Steel Industry as it is a highly suitable material for use in steelworks and Foundries. It has a good thermal insulation, low density and its natural refractory properties combined with ease of application make it one of the most demanded products in our entire range. Due to its loose fill insulator quality, it can also be used for hot topping molten steel to reduce heat loss from ignots and laddles.
