1 Summary
Direct reducted iron, as pure raw material of smelting high-quality steel special steel, can be reducted to iron under the solid condition. It also can be used as ferrous materials for casting iron alloy powder metallurgy process, etc. The process without coke ironmaking raw material can be used to block ore pellets or powder, so it is a kind of new technology, quality and low consumption, low pollution ironmaking is also one of the forefront of the world iron and steel metallurgy technology.
Direct reduction ironmaking process have spirit base method and two kinds of coal based method, according to the method of rotary kiln can be divided into vertical furnace is the main equipment in rotary hearth furnace method reaction tank tank furnace and fluidized bed method, etc

3 Direct reduction procedure
3.1 raw material,fuel,reducing agent
Main raw material|Fe=64%,particle size6-25mm.
Fuel is gas.
Reducing agent is granular coal, fixed carbon is 48-57%, volatile is 18-26%,Ash melting point is more than 1400, size 6 to 25 mm.
With addition of limestone is mainly used to control the powdered sulfur content
3.2 Iron ore drying

3.3 propotion

3.4 reduction roasting process

(1)Pre-heating

(2)Reduced

3.5 Cooling
Materials out of the rotary kiln, a fire-proof material into the cylinder cooling machine cooling with the front, protection and roller feeding end, continuous rain water cooling, the remaining part on indirect materials cooled to below 100

- Main equipments like kiln, preheater, mills, roller press, dust collector, crusher, cooler will be produced in factories of Pengfei. Other equipments like electric equipments, motor and gear box will be purchased from Chinese best suppliers, including SIEMENS, FLENDER, SEW Chinese branch.
- Design and layout of the plant is for production of Portland cement, Type 42.5R/N.
- The dry process is very well known and can be inspected and controlled in many production plants erected by Pengfei.
- The complete equipment, devices and accessories can be inspected and controlled on site/location of manufacturer before loading.
Scope of delivery and service:
- Feasibility study (development of Turnkey Steel Plant and analysis of raw materials).
- Creating of basic engineering
- Creating of construction (as-built documentation)
- Delivery of the complete plant equipment
- Delivery of automation system
- Delivery of electrical kits
- Delivery of Lab and test engineering station for permanent quality monitoring

The delivery does not include:

Scope of erection:
- Erecting of the entire plant equipment by an experienced erecting team of Pengfei;
- The erection will be done only in a safe country. In case of erecting in an insecure country like IRAQ or IRAN or Central African State etc. are higher costs considered as agreed!
- Therefore has to be a separate installment plan verified between the parties!
Delivery time: 10 months; 24 months till run up;
Payment: before loading, according the following installment plan:
30% Down payment after signing the sales contract within 10 days
30% FOB Shanghai first ship
30% FOB Shanghai second ship
10% after 1 year production (time of warranty)
Warranty: 1 year full warranty
Reservation of title: until receiving the entire payment. Extended reservation of title is valid.
