Directions for Use
The filling machine adopts two methods of filling:
The first method of filling:
Check if the connection of hose is firm.
Power source is turned on is turned on.
In trial run, the machine should be earthed. After energization, put the machine to a trial run to see if the air pump turns to the required direction.
When containers of different volume are filled, the rubber seal loop over the bottom of the port should be in alignment with the inlet of the container in line with the height of the cylinder and different aperture.
- When filling is done, valve in the bottom of the cylinder should be opened
- Measure in combination with“subtraction weighing process”.The powder source is placed on the scale and total weight weighed. Weighing is fixed on: Total weight known----weight to be filled = weighing position to be ascertained.
This measurement is the “Subtraction Weighing Process”.
7. Turn on the start switch and the pump begins to work. Then the suction pipe
is placed in the powder source. Powder is sucked into the powder cylinder
through a pipeline. When the weight approaches the quota, powder suction
may be reduced properly through powder suction pipe. Once the set weight is reached, the suction pipe is taken out and inserted into the base properly.
- The stem of direction valve is pushed for several times so that the powder residue in the cylinder may be removed thoroughly.
- The valve is closed, powder cylinder is swung up and the fire extinguisher filled is removed, thus bringing the filling to an end.
10.For precise measurement, the filled container can be weighed again for revision.
The second method of filling:
- Check if the connection of hose is firm.
- Power source is turned on.
- In trial run, the machine should be earthed. After energization, put the machine to a trial run to see if the air pump turns to the required direction.
- Unload the powder suction pipe from the dry powder –filling machine. Connect the side suction pipe over the powder suction end cover to the powder suction port of the cylinder well.
- The fire extinguisher to be filled is placed on the table of electronic scale. The filling end cover is put on the extinguisher. Press the tare-reduction key and the scale will return to O position.
- Turn on the start switch and the pump will begin to work. Then the suction pipe is inserted into powder source. Powder is sucked into the fire extinguisher through a pipeline, when the weight approaches the quota,
Powder suction may be reduced properly through the powder suction pipe.
Once the set weight is reached,the suction pipe is taken out and filling comes
To an end.
II. Maintenance of fire extinguisher refill machine
1. An appropriate amount of 20# lubricant should be filled into the driving parts of the elevator before each use.
2. When the powder suction pipe is working, it should not be inserted too deeply, or blockage of pipe may occur.
3. No dry powder with serious corrosion and above-norm moisture content can be used against damage of equipment.
4. After each use, start the machine and push the rob of direction valve inward for several times so that the residual dust on the filter can be cleared away in addition to other parts of the equipment.
5. After a service life of 500 hours, check if the filer is blocked. If so, clean it up or replace it.
