1. Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound, it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245° C and boiling point 1800° C in normal atmospheric pressure. Solubility in water, reacts with moist gas and water.
2. Application
1). Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal doxidizer and desulfurater.
2). CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
3). CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
4). Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.
