Pomelo, also named shaddock, is an original citrus fruit, with the look of a big grapefruit, native to South and Southeast Asia. The fruit is usually pale green to yellow when ripe, with sweet white (or, more rarely, pink or red) flesh and very thick albedo (rind pith). It is a large citrus fruit, 15–25 centimetres (5.9–9.8 in) in diameter, and usually weighing 1–2 kilograms (2.2–4.4 lb).

Diet usage
1, treatment of senile cough asthma. Ingredient: pomelo peel. Methods: using open blisters, generation of tea drinking.
2, heat treatment of lung cough. Ingredients: 100 g grapefruit, big pear 100 grams, a little honey. Method: wash the materials together and after boiled, add honey or sugar.
3, nitrogen treatment cough. Ingredient: grapefruit, wine, honey. Methods: pomelo peel except nuclear, sliced into the wine in the night. Boil, add honey, always contain pharynx.
4, treat frostbite. Ingredient: 50 g pomelo peel. Methods: the water decoction, soaking with the frostbite, several times a day.
5, treat have a headache. Ingredient: pomelo leaves and worship the amount. Methods: the two pound together after stick on the temples.
6, treatment of joint pain. Ingredient: pomelo leaves, ginger, tung oil 20 grams each. Methods: apply a sore after one with mash.
7, cure indigestion. Ingredient: grapefruit skin 15 grams, chicken's gizzard-membrane, each 10 grams hawthorn, amomum villosum 5 grams. Methods: the water decoction.
8, cure acute mastitis. Ingredients: 200 g pomelo flesh, 50 g green husk, dandelion 30 g. Methods: the water decoction.
9, often catch a cold, cough, asthma, can go nuclear, a stay fresh pomelo skin with due north apricot, fritillaria, tremella 50 grams, addend bottles of honey a stew, secret can strengthen the lungs.
