Pennisetum from the valley of the America.Culture has a long history in china,usually in history as

Features
An annual high quality gramineae pennisetum forage grass.Thes tem height is about 3.5m.It has crude stem and diameter leaf.The grass is tender,and its regeneration is good.It can used for greenfeed,silaging,and making hay,and also can be used for grazing .If not cutting,it could harvest seeds and feed livestock as fine forage.
Yield and quality:
Generally,the yield of hay is 20-25t/ha,of which the seeds is 4-5t/ha.The crude protein accounts dry materials about 13-15%.
Planting Technique:
sowing time and seeding rate:seeding when the soil temprature reach 10,Seeding Rate is 10-15kg/ha,drilling if cutting,sowing if grazing.Need lots of fertilization ,enough Nitrogen,Phosphorus,and Kalium is a important guarantee for high yield.
