1) Product description :
Sound/healthy spinach portion which have been trimmed to remove calyx.The spinach is blanched The portions are well frozen by 25-30g per portion.
2) General Properties.
Spray and fertilizers: Will conform to the limit specified in the Australian Food Standard Code as amended, and the appropriate State Government Food Legislation .
Odours and flavours: Characteristic of fresh spinach
Texture: Firm and characteristic with fresh frozen spinach portion.
Additives and preservatives : Nil.
3) Packaging: Polyethylene lined wax free cardboard cartons free from metal fastenings by 1kg x 10 per carton.
4) Appearance: dark green in colour, free flowing
5) Microbiological Analysis ( on frozen product )
Total Plate Count: Will be less than 10,000/g
Coliform Will be less than 1,000/g
Moulds will be less than 1,000/g
6) Enzyme Activity: Will be Negative
7)_Shelf Life:24 months from date of freezing, with a storage temp of - 18 degrees C.
8) Storage Conditions:frozen with-in 30 minutes of slicing to - 18 degrees C ( and not below - 24 degrees C ) and stored with-in this rangeuntil delivery.
10) Allergens: Some people may have allergic reactions to spinach.
11) Genetically Modified: No genetically modified material has been used.
