India is the second largest Onion growing country in the world. Indian onions are famous for their pungency and are available round the year. Indian Onion has two crop cycles, first harvesting starts in November to January and the second harvesting from January to May.
The Major Onion producing states area Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Tamil Nadu. Maharashtra ranks first in Onion production with a share of 27.72%.

Light Red The crop is global round in shape, big in size and light red in colour.T.S.S.is 13-14 brix and storage quality is good.
3 Agrifound
Rose The crop is flattish round in shape, 2.5-3.5 cm in size and scarlet red in
colour.T.S.S. is 16-18 brix and storage quality is good.
4. Agrifound
Red The crop is 5-6 bulblets clump in shape, 2-2.5 cm in size and brick red in
colour.T.S.S. is 9-10 brix and storage quality is good.
5 Pusa Red The crop is flattish round in shape and red in colour.Storage quality is very good.
Specifications on Quality Grading & Size:
Modern packhouses for sorting, grading and packing of the quality onions are available at production centres. Guidelines have been framed to determine the compliance with Maximum Residue Level (MRL) for the identified pesticides. Grade designation and quality development parameters has been set up.
Grades & Tolerances : Extra Class – 5 % Max. by number or weight
Class I -- 10% Max. by number or weight and
Class II -- 10% Max. by number or weight.
Standard Sizes (Diameter in mm) & Tolerances : 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-60 and 60-70.

Shipment Terms: FOB / CFR / CIF according to Inco Terms 2010 as per customer requirement.
Payment Terms: 30 - 50 % Advance by TT and Remaining by Irrevocable L/C.
Delivery to Port of Loading: With in 15 days from the dyae of receipt of cofirmed PO and Payment instruments( Advance TT and L/C).
