The principle of IPL

E-light (intense pulse light) theory
E-light applies three core technology, IPL, RF, and epidermis cooling. It combines the advantage of IPL and RF,
in one hand, the skin absorbs IPL energy selectively, and the skin also absorbs RF energy,
on the other hand, the RF-surface-touch cooling technology removing the discomfort and complications by high heat of IPL. Therefore, the effect and safety of E-light makes a breakthrough.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a kind of light with high energy and broad wavelength,
within the range from 530nm to 1200nm.
Photothermic and photochemical action will be triggered by the radiation of IPL.
On one hand, IPL will promote collagen reproducing and recombining
which makes the skin more flexible and smooth.
On the other hand, the light with long wavelength can easily pass through epidermis layer and
will be absorbed selectively in priority by pathological pigments which will be destroyed by high heat,
and get the effect of remove pigmentations, vascular lesions and unwanted hair.
Functions
1. Wrinkle removal: Removing true wrinkle, pseudo-wrinkle, face lift-up.
How does it works?
IPL treatment is effective based on its selective absorbability. When the intense pulsed light penetrates the epidermis, the energy of light will be greatly absorbed by the pigments in epidermis. High energy and dark color skin will be with high risk in treatment. Moreover, majority of the heat is reflected andrefracted at the same time, only 30% to 40% of energy is utilizable. Therefore, it needs to increase the energy for a better treatment result. However, majority heat is absorbed by the pigments inepidermis, which directly block to use high energy for treatment, so that affects the single treatment result.
