What's q-switch nd Yag Laser Treatment principle?
For epidermis and dermis pigmentation :
Q-switching Laser is a technique by which a Laser machine delivers very short pulses (8ns±2ns) at very high peak power (hundreds of Mega W) granting the most efficient photoacoustic effect, with no thermal interaction with tissues. Utilizing the explosive effect of the Nd: YAG laser, the laser permeate the epidermis into the dermis which includes amount of pigment mass. Since the laser pulses in nanosecond but with super high energy, the shot pigment mass swell quickly and breaks into small pieces, which will be eliminated through metabolic system.
1064 nm and 532 nm laser wavelengths are absorbed by natural chromophores in tattoo ink. They are indicated for laser tattoo removal .The 1064nm is suggested for dark blue and black ink and the 532nm is suggested for red, orange, yellow, and purple ink .
Light pulses target melanin at variable depth on or in the skin for Pigmented lesions Can be used to remove brown age spots (solar lentigines), freckles, naevus of Ota, naevus of Ito, mongolian spots, Hori naevus and café-au-lait-macules.
For capillary vessel and Varicose Veins:
Utilizing the heat effect of the Nd: Yag Laser, the laser is absorbed by the hemachrome in the capillary vessel, then the capillary vessel become blocked and disappear.
- ND:YAG can be used to remove spider and thread veins in the face (cheek, temporal region, nasal dorsum, forehead) and legs.
