Blue light (wavelength 465 nm )
It is used for disinfection , to support the treatment of acne or open wounds . This application is related to its ability to kill certain types of bacteria by means of free radicals that are released in their structure , since bacteria are poorly protected against free radicals .This type of light is used mainly in cosmetics , which helps in reducing acne due to its disinfecting effect and also decreases the amount of sebum on the skin .Blue light is also characterized by a strong vasodilatory effect on blood vessels and capillaries in the irradiated area. Causing said vasodilator nitric oxide (NO ) - intercellular signaling molecule , which is an important vasodilator agents with the ability to relax vascular smooth muscle . In the human body has many vasoprotective functions : inhibits the adherence and aggregation of platelets , reduces the adherence of leukocytes to the endothelium , suppresses proliferation of vascular smooth muscle . Green light(wavelength525nm)

Yellow light (wavelength 592 nm )
Finds application in vascular problems, and skin pigmentation . Helps remove cracked capillaries , uneven skin discoloration , redness, rosacea , eczema and cares for skin damaged by the sun. Applies particularly to applications in cosmetics in conjunction with burns , reduces the appearance of skin redness and swelling . Its use is usually combined with the use of red light
Red light (wavelength 625 nm )
This type of light penetrates the deepest irradiates a large volume of cells in its application and provides cells with energy absorption in their components , which are responsible for energy production . The principle of the absorption of red light by the enzyme cytochrome C oxidase to activate the increased production of energy stored in the cells in binding of ATP molecules.This kind of light helps to increase collagen production in the skin , activates repair mechanisms , stimulating fibroblast cells and cell growth . It also reduces the adhesion of blood platelets ( thrombocytes ) and the aggregation of erythrocytes releases clusters , thus allowing a greater number of binding of oxygen molecules on their surface.
