How it work?
What is IPL hair removal and how does it work?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) hair removal is the process of applying light to the skin in order to
prevent the hair follicle from producing hair. A high intensity flash lamp is moved across the desired
area. Light from the flash lamp is absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft.
This light is converted into heat within the hair which destroys the follicle rendering
it unable to produce a new hair.
It is safe and effective. A standard IPL system can remove hair in an average of 10-12
treatments,the Ellipse system can do it in 3-6 treatments.
Does it hurt?
Tolerance of pain is very subjective. No anaesthetics are required.
Some patients describe small
discomfort similar to that of a rubber band snapping against the skin.
It is definitely less painful
than waxing!!
ICE SHR:
Traditional hair removal technology such us IPL and E-light are with multi-pulse mode
which focus energy on first pulse, it is pain and very easy to burn skin, besides,
the frequency is less than 1HZ The following SHR machine is with single pulse mode can emit
energy averagely, it gradually heats the dermis with OPT square-wave pulse, and passed over
the tissue multiple times using low energy but a high rate of repetition (up to 10HZ),
adopting 755~815nm wavelength, penetrate directly into hair follicle. It speeds up the treatment,
save time, reduce pain and more effective. While people can still feel no pain after treating
for a while
ICE SSR:
