The RU YTGZ-15/600 Integral Deadreak Bushing( cable joints) combines the advantages of reliable integral design with the operating features required for three-phase switching. The bushing is designed for pad mounted transformers, switchgear and other apparatus fliled with transformer oil, or an approved equivalent. It eliminates the insert-to-well interface present in bushing well and insert primary terminations.
The Bushing is molded with high quality insulating material. When mated with comparably rated products, it provides a fully shielded, submersible and separable connection for deadbreak operation.
The RU YTGZ-15/600 Integral Bushing includes two kinds. Type A is used in oil-insulated apparatus and type B is suitable for the air-insulated devices.
Interchangeability
All RU Power System 600A Integral Deadbreak Bushing conform to the electrical,
mechanical and dimensional requirements of ANSI/IEEE Standard 386. The Integral
Deadbreak Bushing can be used on any comparably rated connector interface that
also meets the requirements of this standard.
