Different styles of the thumb
can handle demolition, waste recycling, pipe, stumps, trees and stone. Thumb and arm fold tightly against stick leaving no interference with digging and other operations
Manual thumbs are much cheaper and do practically the same job as hydraulic ones. To install a manual thumb simply weld the thumb backing plate to your dipper arm and you are ready to go. No hydraulics required! It folds up out of the way if you don't need it. Or you can remove it completely leaving only the backing plate when you take the main pin out.
