At the beginning of heating up, the resistance of electric heater is relatively small, and voltage needed is small which is about l/ 4—1/3 of working voltage. According to the working voltage of silicon molybdenum rod electric heater, and according to the forward characteristics of resistance and temperature, the multi-tapping method is used as the transformer voltage output method, so as to meet working voltage requirement of electric heater at different temperatures, as a result, the grid power factor is improved.
