Limited Warranty Eligibility

l  L-GUARD INT’L ENTERPISE LIMITED is pleased to extend this product warranty policy to all categories (Truck/Bus/Light Truck/Van/Passenger Car/Farm Service/OTR) of tyres sold by it under the brand name Yatai (Made in China) in expression of assurance to the customer of a “Quality Product”.

 l  L-GUARD INT’L ENTERPISE LIMITED warrants to the purchase of every new tyre sold by it under the above brand names that the same is free from any defect or deficiencies arising out of faulty workmanship,material or process for the original tread life of the tyre.

 l  The original tread life of tyre ends when the tyre tread bus worn down to the tread depth indicators with only 2/32 or 1.58mm for truck & light truck tyres and balance 10% of the original tread depth for OTR tyres,at which point the tyre is considered to be fully worn out.

 l  Elogoble tyres must be on the vehicle on which they were originally installed, in conformance with the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.

 l  This warranty applies only to the original tyre purchaser, and is not transferable to any other party.

Warranty Obligations

l  If the tyres under complaint or claim is examined by a person authorized by L-GUARD INT’L ENTERPISE LIMITED and found to have a defect in workmanship,process or material,they would agree to take one of the following actions,as may be applicable.

 l  If an examination shows that a tyre failed as a result of such defect during the first 15% of the original usable tread life,it would then be replaced with a comparable new tyre on free of charge basis.

 l  If the affected tyre has worn more that 15% of the original usable tread life,then a credit will be given towards purchase of a comparable new tyre in proportion to the original sable tread remaining on such defective tyre to the original usable tread of the new tyre.The amount of credit will be calculated by the following formula:

C=(R.T.D/O.T.D.) x P

Where

C=Amount of credit

R.T.D=Remaining usable tread depth of defective tyre

O.T.D=Original usable tread depth of a new tyre

P=Landed cost of the importer

All applicable taxeson the new tyre and costs of mounting and balancing service shall be borne by the owner.

WHAT IS NOT WARRANTED

Tyres that have become unserviceable for the following reasons:

l  Road hazared injuries or damages caused by obstacles or debris on the bruises,tears,abrasions or impact breaks

l  Improper repairs or repairs that have failed.

l  Improper inflation or other maintenance abuses.

l  Continued operation while flat or severely under inflated.

l  Improper applicant of tyre size and /or specification.

l  Improper mounting/dismounting procedures or tyre/wheel assembly balance.

l  Mechauical Irreguiarities to the vehicle or wheel,such as bent wheel assemblies,misalignment,worn or faulty components.

l  Accident,corrosion,vandalism,fire or damages caused by nature.

l  Use of aftermarket tyre additives,such as fillers,sealants or balancing substances,where the added materials are the cause of a failure.

l  Use of improper inner tube.

l  Normal wear/tear and deterioration of the surface appearance.

Additional Exclusions

l  Improper storage.

l  Cost of mounting and balance service..

l  Loss of time or use, inconvenience, or any incidental or consequential damages.

What is warranted

Tyre that have become unserviceable for reasons other than stated above will be replace in accordance with this warranty.

Company’s Obligations

Replacements qualitying under the warranty will be made by authorized Importer of the company

Owner’s Obligations

The owner must oresent the claim tyre to an authorized dealer of company’s importer or to company’s importer.

Disclaimer

This warranty, or any warranty stated or refered to herein,is exclusive and in lieu of any other warranty regarding the quality of L-GUARD INT’L ENTERPISE LIMITED tyres,whether expressed or implied,and remedies for breach thereof shall be limited to those specifically provided herein.
