AS-i Safety Input Modules

 

Bihl+Wiedemann offers a customized safety concept for large, medium-sized, and small systems. In addition to Safety Monitors 

and safe output modules, important components of efficient safety concepts are safe input modules with IP 20 and IP 67 protection. For this purpose, Bihl+Wiedemann has expanded their comprehensive range of safe inputs by introducing an IP67/M12 AS-i safety input module for 4 / 2 dry-contact safe inputs

(BWU2631) and an IP 20 AS- safety input module for safety mat (BWU2661).

IP67, M12 for floating contacts with 4 / 2 safe inputs (BWU2631)

  • Space-saving, cost-effective solution:
    4 / 2 dry-contact safe inputs (2 x BWU2284) in one module

  • Ideal complement to the AS-i safety input modules for optoelectronic protective devices or for IP67 dry-contact safe inputs.

 

IP20 for safety mats (BWU2661)

  • 1 safe input for safety mats 1.2 kΩ or 8.2 kΩ monitoring resistor
  • 2 conventional solid state outputs:
    • Short circuit and overload protected
    • controls up to two indicator lights
    • Powered by galvanically isolated 24V

  • Ideal complement to the AS-i safety input modules for optoelectronic protective devices or for IP20 dry-contact safe inputs.
