HM-718 is a side hot melt adhesive designed for book-binding(back glue). With light initial
color, good heat-stability, long open time, good flexibility and low application temperature, it
can bond the paper materials strongly.

130℃--------about 9500 cps
150℃--------about 5100 cps
175℃--------about 2500 cps
Application Instructions
Recommended application temperature:130-160℃(Don’t exceed 180℃). The viscosity and
setting time can be adjusted by changing the glue temperature, the application temperature
should be adjusted based on the practical use (raise 5℃ in winter).
The cover of glue tank should be closed after filling adhesive lest the adhesive might be
polluted.
If the plant line stops for over 2 hours, the glue temperature should be tuned down to about
100℃ to avoid the aging of adhesive influencing the adhesion performance. If the applicator
stops for over 8 hours, the glue in tank should be emptied.
HM-718 should not be mixed with any other type of adhesive
Packaging and Storage
Shelf Life: 12 Months in dry and cool environment
Packaging: 25 Kg/bag
Cleaning:
The glue tank should be cleaned by paraffin or naphthenic oil, MSDS should be consulted for
proper handling before use.
Warnings:
Wear goggles and adiabatic gloves when filling hopper or pot.
Keep plant ventilated and forbid any fire.
