Product Orientation:
The SmartAX MA5600T/MA5603T is a multi-service access module launched by Huawei.
The MA5600T/MA5603T, functioning as an integrated optical-copper access equipment,provides the integrated broadband and narrowband access and FTTx optical access services that feature high rate, high bandwidth, and high quality. It can function as an OLT, MSAN, or IP DSLAM. The MA5600T is a large-capacity device and the MA5603T is a medium-capacity device.
1.Supports the 10G GPON/GPON access service. The MA5600T/MA5603T can function as an optical line terminal (OLT) in the GPON system, working with the optical network terminal (ONT) or other optical network units (ONUs).
2.Supports the point-to-point (P2P) FE/GE optical access and provides users with the P2P FTTH access by cooperating with the ONT.
3.Provides the voice service solution based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and H.248, supports the POTS port to implement the voice service, fax service, narrowband modem service, and various supplementary services.
4.Provides the E1/N*64k private line service through the TDM SHDSL board. And H802EDTB board supports the TDM SHDSL feature.
5.Supports broadband access services such as ADSL2+, VDSL2, and SHDSL, enhancing the xDSL function.
6.Provides the STM-1 optical port through the AIUG board for cascading to the ATM DSLAM and converting the IPoA/PPPoA access into IPoE/PPPoE
upstream transmission, thereby implementing the ATM network consolidation function.
In the upstream direction, the MA5600T/MA5603T is generally connected to the IP/MPLS network through the Ethernet (GE/10GE) port.

The MA5600T/MA5603T provides a 48-channel ADSL2+ & POTS combo board (CAME), a 48-channel VDSL2 & POTS combo board (CVME), a 48-channel VDSL2 over POTS board(VCMM), 64-channel ADSL2+ over POTS boards (ADPE and ADPM), and 64-channel VDSL2 over POTS service boards (VDPE and VDPM) to achieve highest-density access in the industry.
48-channel ADSL2+ & POTS Combo Board (CAME)
Using its ADSL2+ port, the CAME board works with the ADSL terminal unit-remote end (ATU-R) to provide 48 channels of ADSL2+ access and 48 channels of POTS access services.
48-channel VDSL2 & POTS Combo Board (CVME)
Using its VDSL2 port, the CVME board works with the VDSL terminal unit-remote end (VTU-R) to provide 48 channels of VDSL2 access and 48 channels of POTS access services.
48-channel VDSL2 over POTS Board (VCMM)
The VCMM board provides 48 channels of VDSL2 over POTS access services, and implement vectoring with VEPA.
64-channel ADSL2+ over POTS Board (ADPE and ADPM)
The ADPE and ADPM boards work with the ADSL terminal unit-remote end (ATU-R) through the ADSL2+ port to access 64 channels of ADSL2+ service. The ADPE board provides a built-in 64-channel splitter. ADKM can be replaced with ADPM.
64-channel VDSL2 over POTS Service Board (VDPE and VDPM)
Using their VDSL2 port, the VDPE and VDPM boards work with the VDSL transceiver unit,remote terminal end (VTU-R) to provide 64 channels of VDSL2 access service. A built-in 64-channel splitter is added for the VDPE board.
