The ESD wrist strap is used to prevent electrostatic discharge from damaging the equipment.
One end of the ESD wrist strap must be connected to the ESD jack on the subrack.
Wear an ESD wrist strap when installing the MA5603U. Insert one end of the ESD wrist strap
into the ESD jack (labeled with ESD), as shown in:

The functions of the fan tray are as follows:
Heat dissipation
The fan tray is located at the left of the service subrack and blows air to dissipate heat for
the service subrack. Cool air flows to the subrack from the left of the subrack and then
flows out from the right of the subrack after passing the boards.
Monitoring
The fan tray houses a fan monitoring board. The fan monitoring board transmits speed
adjustment signals to the fan tray, collects rotating speed signals of the fans, and reports
rotating speed signals to the control board.
Speed adjustment
The rotating speed of fans can be adjusted automatically according to detected temperatures or adjusted manually using software.
