kevlar filament:

The mechanical properties of high strength and high modulus : a strong hydrogen bond strength , strength of up to 28 g / D more, than the strength of steel wire 5 to 6 times higher than the modulus of steel wire or glass fiber 2 to 3 times, toughness steel wire are two -fold , and weighs only wire about 1/5 .

Temperature resistance : Continuous use temperature range is extremely wide, -196 °C to 204 °C in the range of long-term operation . At 500 °C high temperature does not decompose , does not melt , at 200 °C undergo 100 hours , still maintain the original strength of 75%.

Good chemical solvent properties : acid, anti-aging, have a good adhesion to rubber .
