Carefully hand-picked one bud with one or two leaves, this Zi Sun Cha enjoys very pleasing, charming orchid aroma and delicate tea liquid. Its aroma and taste is completely different from Anji Baicha and any other famous green teas.

 


Our Zi Sun Cha(purple bamboo shoot) green tea is from Zhang Ling tea plantation, where it is one of the origin birth place of tribute Zi Sun Cha in Tang Dynasty. Located at the altitute over 400 meters, Zhang Ling tea plantation is the eco-diversity tea farm, where no fertilizer & pesticides are ever used; In this farm, there are many tall, several hundred years old ginkgo trees, some other unknown-name trees, ponds; Only pick one time in spring, then the tea branches cut down and use for the tea trees fertilizers; then the following three seasons rest.

 


The name of Zi Sun refers to " purple bamboo shoot" literally in English; the reason is when the fresh leaves & buds is light purple color, and the buds resembles the top part of newly-born bamboo shot. Zi Shun used to be the tribute tea in Tand Dynasty and regarded as the best tea ever by Tea Saint Lu Yu.
