Portable Laptop Stand
Nowadays, both desk-top and laptop are widely used in people's life. Especially laptop, for it strong point of easily taking, it has to be indispensable vade mecum of people. People need it for workin and fun, at any time and any place.
But may be you don't know, at the same time of enjoying the convenient of laptop, people's healthy are imperiled by using way of laptop. Let's see:
By study of engineering science of human beings, the scientists found the laptop do have limitation in using design, it will caused people in bad heath if unduly use.
In order to save space and cost performance, all laptops are very small. So, when we use them, no matter how to modulate the angle of screen, the content always shows in higher angle than desk-top.
It directly caused people's head should pitch front in order to fit the angle. After study, scientists told, when people stand or sit in normal way, our neck can endure weight of head without striking a blowing. But,when the head front every 1 inch, our neck should endure one more weight of a head. If the neck bear the extra weight for a long time, the neck muscle will be broken, our centrum will metamorphose and its nerve will be oppressed. In order to solve the problem, some people try to adjust the screen to the place where the eye will feel comfortable, but it will cased the muscle strain of shoulder and arm. No matter in what way, laptop will damage our health.
Meanwhile, the life time of laptop batteries will be short for the heat of laptop can not drop away easily. It need a assistant equipment to help for heat yield.
Otherwise, under big pressure of work and life, people thirst for the love of friend, parents, etc.
If there is a great creation, that can help people to keep healthy, prolong the life time of laptop, and can take with the photo of relatives at any time and any place, that will be wonderful.
So, Richland hope to design a good laptop stand that can realize the functions above and applied for most of people.
Design purpose:
1: Keep healthy for people.
2: Prevent neck & spinal column spondylosis.
3: Alleviate working pressure.
4: Be propitious for laptop heat yield.
5: To realize the photo frame.
6. Good cost performance that makes everybody can accept.
7: Small, light and good looking, can take together with laptop at any time and place.
Design process:
According to the conception and our experience of RL-LTS01 design, the first laptop stand (wit photo frame function) design has come:
1: Far from Support pin design, RL-LTS02 is with Bottom flat design which enable you to use
it everywhere.
2: it has 3 scientific supporting angles to make you easeful when you operate laptop.
You can adjust angles when you are in bed, on lap, on desk, etc. Then you can choose which one is the most comfortable one.
3: Portable, It can be put into the laptop bag easily.
4: Hollow out design to release heat without extra electrical power, in order to prolong the life of laptop.
5: Green material (environment friendly material ) to keep you healthy. Material: ARCYL (PMMA)
6: color can be white, black, grey, red, blue. ( same as APPLE IPOD).Also there are some others accessional function:
7. When it is folded, it can be a photo frame, after it is unfolded, it was laptop stand.
8. Further more, we add a typing bracket on the laptop stand.
Then, our engineers test the practicability of design, and they did some modification for the design as below:
1. We have give up the typing bracket for design 1 is too complex, when people in real use, the more light the laptop is, the more convenient to take with. And it will save cost of people. If people need typing bracket, our designed typing bracket (you also can find in our website) can use more simply and convenient!
2. In plan 1, the locking framework is realized by cooperation of a flute and protruding block, when it in use, the restriction have some defectiveness. So, our engineer has changed the design into cooperation of a flute and protruding block which can be press in both side of the stand. So, we improve the tightness and comfort when fold the stand.
3. in plan one, the locking framework of transparent board (used to inlay the photo) used too much space, so , our engineer choose 4 barbs to instead.
4. In plan 1, the protrude parts in both side of stand are hollow structure, and the middle support board and soleplate is solid structure, in order to make the protrude parts more stronger, our engineer changed the protrude parts in both side of stand,middle support board, and soleplate into solid structure.
In order to make the design most perfect, our engineers check the design again ,and update the design below:
1. In plan 2, the block framework which to control the fold of stand is designed in both side of stand.
In order to make the open of upper board and soleplate more convenient, we change the design
into the middle of one side.
2. in plan 2, when the stand is fold, there are two parts used to be supporting, the design make the parts and soleplate more complex. Otherwise, the baffle break the appearance of support board, so, we adopted the revolving baffle structure, when it nonuse, it can be folded in the side and used to be the support plate of photo frame.
3. To consider in real use, the laptop may sideslip, so, in plan 3, we add 4 small baffles on the
protrude parts of both side.
4. In order to save cost and add the stability of stand, we changed the solid support board into U shape, so that it can support more and save material.
