JJRC H20W best wifi fpv camera Hexacopter released!
Production Introduction:
JJRC is releasing the JJRC H20W WiFi FPV hexacopter that comes with a 2MP camera that streams video to your phone, headless mode, one key return, and flip mode.
This hexacopter is the WiFi FPV version of the JJRC H20 which is a pretty fun little hexacopter.
The FPV camera on this thing is listed at 2MP/720p and faces straight forward at no angle, I don’t know that I actually believe the claim of 720p video as there doesn’t appear to be a microSD card slot on this hexacopter to record to which normally you need for any decent sized video recording. Most likely I am going to expect it to be lower quality video that is stretched to 720p and saved to your phone.
I’ve talked about this before but the transmitter on the JJRC H20W is probably one of my favorite transmitters to come out recently, it comes with a bunch of quadcopters, looks very nice to use and IMO is one of the cooler looking transmitters.
Sort of skeptical about battery life as this is a hexacopter with WiFi FPV and it’s pretty tiny, they’ve increased the battery size to 280mAh compared to the H20’s 150 mAh but at a certain point you start getting diminishing returns and battery size doesn’t increase flight time a whole lot.
Headless mode on this hexacopter will probably work mediocre as it does on the majority of quads/hexacopters. It’s just such an easy feature to add that usually not much effort is put in to make sure it actually works correctly.
Definitely looks like a cool hexacopter but it isn’t exactly my cup of tea so I probably won’t be picking one up. Regardless if you think it looks cool you can check out the specs below and click to button to get even more information and buy this awesome hexacopter.

JJRC H20W Hexacopter Headless Mode Nano RTF.
JJRC H20W Drone with Headless Mode,no need to adjust the position of aircraft before flying. One key to return function makes it easily to find the way home.
H20W Drone has 6-axis gyro which can have more stable flying and be easy to control. It can realize 3D tumbling in four directions with 4 LED lights. 4 Channel which can do ascend, descend, forward, backward, left sideward fly, right sideward fly and rolling 360°. Lightweight airframe with nice durability.
JJRC H20W Nano Hexacopter
Flying the JJRC H20W Drone was a completely different experience. Although there were no led lights on the arms the back red led lights and the front blue leds combined with the two white front facing propellers were perfect for orientation. The H20W Drone also has three speed modes beginner, intermediate and expert and the speed modes are changed by pressing in the top left button on the transmitter. The H20W also has a flip activating button on the top right of the transmitter there is no automatic flip it expert mode which in my mind is a far better solution. I found the H20W Hexacopter extremely easy to fly, it was super stable and in low speed rate perfect for beginners. The Yaw rate in low and intermediate was fairly docile again making it perfect for beginners but in high or expert rate it was extremely fast. The propeller guards allowed you to ‘Bump’ off walls without crashing. I tested the JJRC H20W outside in a slight breeze and it handled very well and was fabulous fun to fly.
Specifications
The JJRC H20W Hexacopter Drone features a compact and lightweight design that makes maneuvering the drone very easy, along with the 6-axis gyro that provides additional stable flying and easy control. It is equipped with 4 LED lights that are great for flying it at nighttime and makes it easy to detect in the distance. It can also realize 3D tumbling in 4 directions due to the help of LED lights.
It has a return function that can be activated by using just one button and the drone can easily find its way home. It is an RTF drone that also features a Headless mode.
The props on the drone are slightly thicker than other drones, and along with its 150mAh battery and light frame, the JJRC H20W Hexacopter is able to provide a lot of power for aggressive maneuvers and faster flying.
The JJRC H20W Hexacopter also offers 3 different speed modes. The first is ‘low’ that has a slow yaw and pitch, making it great for beginners who are learning to fly. The next is ‘medium’ the features the perfect amount of yaw and pitch fro flying the drone. The third and last mode is ‘high’ that is extremely fast and a little hard to control, making the hexacopter spin like a top.
This hexacopter also has a flip feature that can be activated using the right shoulder button on the transmitter. You have to move the right stick in the direction you want the drone to flip. The flips can be executed very well with the power the small drone possesses, and it also gives auto throttle to help with recovery.
Battery
As mentioned earlier, the battery for the JJRC H20W Hexacopter drone is 280mAh. This is a removable battery and the drone’s board, battery, as well as the charger all have reversed polarity.
The LiPo battery will give you a flight time of around 4.5 minutes when using the prop guards and around 5 minutes without them. The charger, which is a little yellow USB cord similar to other drones and quadcopters, has a relatively short charging time of about 35 minutes. But that can change depending on whether you are charging the drone using a laptop or wall adapter.
