JJRC H20 Hexacopter Headless Mode Nano RTF.
JJRC H20 Drone with Headless Mode,no need to adjust the position of aircraft before flying. One key to return function makes it easily to find the way home.
H20 Drone has 6-axis gyro which can have more stable flying and be easy to control. It can realize 3D tumbling in four directions with 4 LED lights. 4 Channel which can do ascend, descend, forward, backward, left sideward fly, right sideward fly and rolling 360°. Lightweight airframe with nice durability.
JJRC H20 Nano Hexacopter
Flying the JJRC H20 Drone was a completely different experience. Although there were no led lights on the arms the back red led lights and the front blue leds combined with the two white front facing propellers were perfect for orientation. The H20 Drone also has three speed modes beginner, intermediate and expert and the speed modes are changed by pressing in the top left button on the transmitter. The H20 also has a flip activating button on the top right of the transmitter there is no automatic flip it expert mode which in my mind is a far better solution. I found the H20 Hexacopter extremely easy to fly, it was super stable and in low speed rate perfect for beginners. The Yaw rate in low and intermediate was fairly docile again making it perfect for beginners but in high or expert rate it was extremely fast. The propeller guards allowed you to ‘Bump’ off walls without crashing. I tested the JJRC H20 outside in a slight breeze and it handled very well and was fabulous fun to fly.
Specifications
The JJRC H20 Hexacopter Drone features a compact and lightweight design that makes maneuvering the drone very easy, along with the 6-axis gyro that provides additional stable flying and easy control. It is equipped with 4 LED lights that are great for flying it at nighttime and makes it easy to detect in the distance. It can also realize 3D tumbling in 4 directions due to the help of LED lights.
It has a return function that can be activated by using just one button and the drone can easily find its way home. It is an RTF drone that also features a Headless mode.
The props on the drone are slightly thicker than other drones, and along with its 150mAh battery and light frame, the JJRC H20 Hexacopter is able to provide a lot of power for aggressive maneuvers and faster flying.
The JJRC H20 Hexacopter also offers 3 different speed modes. The first is ‘low’ that has a slow yaw and pitch, making it great for beginners who are learning to fly. The next is ‘medium’ the features the perfect amount of yaw and pitch fro flying the drone. The third and last mode is ‘high’ that is extremely fast and a little hard to control, making the hexacopter spin like a top.
This hexacopter also has a flip feature that can be activated using the right shoulder button on the transmitter. You have to move the right stick in the direction you want the drone to flip. The flips can be executed very well with the power the small drone possesses, and it also gives auto throttle to help with recovery.
Battery
As mentioned earlier, the battery for the JJRC H20 Hexacopter drone is 150mAh. This is a removable battery and the drone’s board, battery, as well as the charger all have reversed polarity.
The LiPo battery will give you a flight time of around 4.5 minutes when using the prop guards and around 5 minutes without them. The charger, which is a little yellow USB cord similar to other drones and quadcopters, has a relatively short charging time of about 35 minutes. But that can change depending on whether you are charging the drone using a laptop or wall adapter.
Transmitter
The transmitter that is available with the JJRC H20 Hexacopter drone has a similar style and design to a standard nano TX, but in size it is slightly bigger than the Cheerson CX-10C controller. Overall, to hold it feels a little small, but still fits well when holding it in the hands.
The 2.4GHz 4-channel trasnmitter features 2 shoulder buttons, where the left one is used to change between the 3 speed modes and the right button is used for performing flips. It also has 2 sticks, with the left for activating headless mode and the right for activating the return to home feature. It also has pitch and roll trims that help in stable hovering.
The transmitter has a range of about 30 meters, which is quite good for a nano drone. Plus, for the price the quadcopter and its transmitter are sold at it is pretty much like a great freebie!
Conclusion
In conclusion, the JJRC H20 Hexacopter Drone does not disappoint when it comes to performance and price. It provides a slow, smooth flying experience is a great first drone for beginners to learn and practice on.
