Meiqing multifunctional medical film which comprises a substrate, a bottom gelatin layer and an imaging layer, wherein the bottom gelatin layer is directly coated at front and back sides of the substrate; the imaging layer is directly coated on the bottom gelatin layer so as to form a double-sided printed medical film; the material of the substrate is any one of polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinyl chloride or polypropylene; the material of the bottom gelatin layer is any one of polyurethane or polyacrylic emulsion; the imaging layer is formed by stirring and mixing the following components by weight percent: 15% of pigment, 5% of the binding agent, 5% of the whitening agent, 5% of the dispersing agent and 70% of deionized water. The multifunctional medical film provided by the utility model adopts appropriate imaging layer proportion, thus printing definition is higher, and black and white image or color image can be printed, as compared with the existing medical film; the multifunctional medical film has a stable imaging property, so the image can be maintained for a long term; and the multifunctional medical film has waterproof and abrasion-resistant performances. 1. Do I need a darkroom when I buy a digital X ray system?
No. A darkroom is not required. However, images can be printed using laser or inkjet printers that are similar to computer printers which will produce good quality images on specialised films without chemical processing.
2. Do I have to throw away my old X ray equipment when I move to digital imaging?
Not necessarily. The old X ray machine can be used as CR (computed radiography) by providing CR cassette. The machine can still be used as before using conventional cassette.
3. Do I have to be a computer expert to use digital imaging?
No. The software to manage digital images is user-friendly and quite easy to use.
4. Do I need to have special training to interpret digital X rays?
You will need some specific training to obtain the full advantages of digital radiology but not for the interpretation of X ray images.
