The kudzu (Pueraria lobata) is a fast-growing, woody, somewhat hairy vine, Kudzu is one of the earliest medicinal plants used in traditional Chinese medicine. It has many profound pharmacological actions. Traditional Asian healers have long valued kudzu's root and flowers for treating colds, flu, high blood pressure, chest pain, allergies, and a host of other ailments. And research indicates that a compound in the root (an isoflavone called puerarin) may also increase blood flow to the heart and brain--which may explain certain traditional uses. Kudzu is available in various forms including capsules, tablets, and sliced or chopped dried root.

Physiological Functions
The kudzu is a fast-growing, woody, somewhat hairy vine , this herb mainly contains flavones, such as daidzein, daidzin, daidzein-4, 7-diglucose glucoside, puerarin, puerarin-7-xyloside, puerarol, xylopuerarin, isoflavonoid glycoside and starch. Kudzu vine root can dilate coronary vessels and cerebral blood vessels and increase the blood flow of coronary arteries.Total flavone of kudzu vine root can reduce the myocardial oxygen consumption and increase the supply of oxygen. Kudzu vine root can directly dilate the blood vessels to lower peripheral resistance. It can also reduce blood pressure remarkably and alleviate the "nape tension" symptom of a patient with a high blood pressure in a better way. Puerarin can inhibit the platelet aggregation. Kudzu vine root has an extensive blocking effect on beta-receptors. Kudzu vine root also has an obvious antipyretic effect and can also reduce blood sugar slightly.Kudzu containing a variety of isoflavones have been shown to reduce alcohol drinking in rats and hamsters.There are many combination with kudzu root aim at breast beauty with other herbs, a product named Breast Pretty Precious exampled as given below: Combined with herbs pawpaw fruit, Pueraria root, Wild Yam, Logan, Chinese Date, Wolfberry fruit, Tomato, Semen Coicis, Grapeseed, Soy milk, Vitamin B6,Vitamin B12,Vitamin E, etc and lactose as additives.
