1) About the perforated metal/expanded metal 

  Expanded metal is a metal sheet with openings in the area. They are formed by cuts in the transverse direction and at the same time stretching in length without loss of material. The mesh made from sheets or strips of material are neither woven nor welded. Expanded metal can therefore without losing the fixed relationship may be tailored to any desired level.

Mesh length: about 0.5 mm to 250 mm.
Mesh shape: diamond-shaped, round, square shape.
Sheet thickness: about 0.1 mm to 6.0 mm.
