Rondish Protektor Long Range Wireless Nurse Call System uses a combination of low power and high power signaling to efficiently cover a variety of facilities with a call system.
Lower power devices (868 or 915MHz) signal to a Zone Processor, which bumps the signal for a long-range link to a desktop Care Station. US and European regulations allow for higher signal strength on these frequencies than the unlicensed 315 or 433MHz bands, and the result is that Protektor has significantly greater range than wireless systems using these frequencies. A facility consisting of multiple floors, or a small campus of buildings, can be covered in a single wireless system.
Call points support multiple functions, including Call, Emergency, Presence, Guard, and Reset. Displays at the Care Station default for use in medical facilities, and can be configured for use in residences, service call, or customized circumstances.

Rondish began as a traditional security company, installing alarms, access control, CCTV and other mainstream security devices, until we realized that the key to security and safety was not just a matter of integrating other people's equipment as most security companies in Hong Kong do. Rather it was inventing novel devices and combinations that prevented crime and made people, premises and property safer. Furthermore, the healthcare and elderly systems market sector was underserved and needed specialist devices designed for it, so we made that a key part of our mission.
