◊ Internal coating
A layer of special powder on the inner wall will prevent the filling medium from contacting with the inner wall directly. The special power is non-metal material that is compatible with the filling medium in the cylinder, and has the resistance to erosion and the ability to isolate hydrogen so as to maintain the cylinder’s mechanical behaviors. This method would significantly lengthen the service life and improve the operation safety. This technology is generally applied in CNG containing higher hepatic gas and petroleum pipelines. After the coating process , the steel cylinder’s service life will be doubled even if erosive impurities are contained in the filling gas.
