1 Introduction:

Not affect the production schedule, the on-line eddy current flaw testing system is installed in the production line, to test if there is any crack, air hole, slag inclusion etc. for the workpiece, which makes the producing and detecting can be finished at the same time.

The whole set of system includes detector units, machinery, electric, pneumatic and associated accessories, totally five parts. Adopting self-research eddy current testing technology of IDEA company, using the independence plane analysis and multiple image phase amplitude zone alarm technology, it can automatically find out the defects, and finish alarm, marking and sorting signal output.

2 Tested object: seamless tube, longitudinal welded tube, bar, wire rod, and profiled bar etc.

3 Tested material: carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminium, titanium etc. different kinds of nonferrous and ferrous metals.

4 Testing speed: 0-350m/min

5 Testing mode: 1) Through type  probe, the workpiece pass through the eddy current probe

                             2)Segment probe, the probe is installed on the surface of the workpiece
