1. it is new substitute of Ferro silicon
2.has the same function with Ferro silicon but lower price in steel making
Application
(1)silicon ball (silicon briquette) can replace Ferro silicon in steel making as deoxidizer.
(2)Increase the Si content when smelting pig iron, ductile cast iron or base metals as Ferro silicon and related products.
Advantage
(1)They have the uniform size, and diameter 2 - 5CM can reduce the loss and labor cost when crushing Ferro silicon natural lumps.
(2)When used in steel making, it has the advantage of accurate batch charging, good oxygen effect, and can shorten the time to deoxidize and save energy.
(3)The cost is decreased by 20% compared with Ferro silicon.
Manufacturing Technique
The Ferro silicon ball (silicon briquette) our factory produced takes the material of the remaining blocks of ferrosilicon standard trim, and then after being finely crushed, add powerful organic adhesive and fully mixed by the vertical mixer, then become into the ball by the powerful ball forming mill.
