Application:
Calcium Silicon is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product.
Calcium Silicon is also utilized in combination with Barium. The Barium increases the density and reduces the vapor pressure of the alloy, thereby improving efficiency. In cast irons it is used mainly by Pipe Shops for the purpose of coating the inside of each mono cast machine.
Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergrated steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables: CaSi powder is blown deep into the steel melt through immersion of steel tubes.

Samples & Inspection:
We could provide free sample for our customers, the buyer will only have to bear the express charge.
And we do arrange factory inspection for all goods which had been produced and deliverd,and can provide SGS and certification from other testing organizations as well.Additionally, the buyer may appoint a third party inspector or, in person for inspection of the goods.
Ordering & Payment:
You could place a trial order for test the quality of the goods,our minimum order quantity if 20 tons.If the tria order met your satisfaction, you can place a official order.
We usually accept T/T and L/C payment and will deliver the goods within 14 working days after receipt of the advance payment/ Letter of credit.
Packing & Delivery:
1.Regular products packing with a multilayer woven palstic ton bag each ton. Or with small bags(20/25/50kg) then into a ton bag.
2.Special product package with moistureproof bags.
3.Package with customers' requirement.
With a adequate capacity and convenient location(which is about 5 hours' way form Tianjin port),we would garantee a timely delivery to our customers.Usually with 14 days up receiving of an order.
